Provides 30 A ground-fault protection for single-phase 120 V AC circuits in QO load centres and NQ panelboards with a bolt-on paddle actuator
The Square D QOB130GFI is a single-pole ground-fault circuit interrupter rated 30 amps at 120 volts AC. It mounts by bolting onto compatible QO load centres and NQ panelboards. A 10 kA interrupting rating at 120 V AC provides short-circuit protection alongside ground-fault detection.
Electricians adding ground-fault protection to a single 120-volt branch circuit will find this breaker a direct fit for QO and NQ equipment. Installations that require two-pole or three-pole ground-fault coverage, or a higher ampere rating, cannot use this device. Circuits operating above 120 volts AC or needing DC ratings are also outside its scope.
The breaker uses a bolt-on connection that secures it to QO load centres and NQ panelboards. Pressure-plate terminals accept the circuit conductors. Physical dimensions are 4.1 inches long, .8 inches wide and 2.9 inches deep within a 100 A frame size.

The QOB130GFI is a sealed miniature circuit breaker with no user-serviceable components; the ground-fault trip mechanism and pressure-plate terminals are factory-assembled and not field-replaceable.
The breaker carries a 10 kA AIR rating at 120 V AC, so it is tested to clear faults up to 10 000 amperes; any event exceeding that level would require replacement.
The 100 A frame and pressure-plate terminals are designed to operate within UL temperature-rise limits at full 30 A load; normal panel ventilation keeps the 4.1 in long body at acceptable temperatures during all-day operation.
