Three-pole 30 A miniature circuit breaker with 22 kA interrupting capacity for QO panelboards
The Square D QOB330VH is a bolt-on miniature circuit breaker rated at 30 amps with three poles for 120/240V AC systems. It delivers a high interrupting capacity of 22kA and belongs to the QOB series designed for compatible QO panelboards. Electrical contractors and facility managers use it for branch circuit protection in commercial and light industrial installations.
Verify that the panelboard is a Square D NQOD or QO series unit that accepts bolt-on QOB breakers. Confirm the available space matches the 3-inch length, 2.3-inch width and 2.9-inch depth of the device. Ensure the system voltage is 120/240V AC three-phase and that the required interrupting rating meets or exceeds 22kA at that voltage.
This breaker upgrades from standard QO models when the available fault current exceeds their interrupting rating. The 22kA rating suits service entrances and downstream panels fed by larger transformers where a 10kA unit would be insufficient. It is not suitable for DC circuits or panels outside the QO/NQOD family.

The breaker uses a bolt-on mounting style for QO panelboards; mounting bolts are not included and must be sourced to match the panelboard.
Choose the 30 A three-pole model when protecting a three-phase 120/240 V circuit that requires 30 A overcurrent protection and 22 kA interrupting capacity.
It means the breaker can safely interrupt up to 22 000 amps of fault current at 120/240 V AC without damage.
