Miniature circuit breaker rated 15 A with high-magnetic trip for air-conditioning and refrigeration loads, single-pole 120/240 V AC, 48 V DC, 10 kA interrupting.
This Square D QOU miniature circuit breaker carries a 15 A rating on a single pole. It protects 120/240 V AC branch circuits and is rated for 48 V DC as well. The high-magnetic trip curve suits air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating loads where inrush current is common.
The breaker mounts on a DIN rail or surface and fits QO-series panelboards or load centres. Its reversible slotted box lug accepts line or load conductors without re-wiring the terminal orientation. A 10 kA interrupting rating at 120/240 V AC replaces lower-rated devices when higher fault-current protection is required.
The toggle actuator provides clear on/off indication for maintenance crews. The 100 A frame size leaves space in the same panel for additional single-pole breakers. Installers needing multi-pole or higher-amperage protection must select a different QOU model.

Yes, it is built for the QO panelboard series and mounts on a DIN rail or surface mount within that system.
Snap the single-pole unit onto the DIN rail, then torque the slotted box lug terminals — reversible line and load — to the specified value so connections stay secure.
Replace it after a fault trip that exceeds the 10 kA interrupting rating, if the toggle mechanism feels loose, or when the 15 A thermal element shows signs of overheating.
