Compact 3-Shelf Utility Cart

The Stand Steady SS-STC111-B is a compact utility cart built for indoor maintenance and janitorial tasks. It fits warehouses, offices, classrooms and garages where a slimmer profile helps navigate narrow hallways and aisles. Three deep tub shelves keep supplies mobile and organised without taking up excess floor space. The cart arrives new and requires fast, easy assembly.

300 lb Evenly Distributed Capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 300 lb weight capacity, rated for evenly distributed loads across all three shelves. Heavy cleaning equipment, toolboxes or bulk supplies must stay within this limit to avoid structural stress. Buyers who need to move heavier pallets or industrial machinery should look for a higher-rated platform truck instead.

Locking Swivel Casters and Deep Tub Shelves

Four-inch full swivel casters provide maximum manoeuvrability and two can be locked to hold the cart securely in place during loading. Each shelf measures 24 by 17.75 inches with a 2.5 inch depth and 12 inches of vertical clearance, so taller bottles and containers fit upright. The ergonomic push handle and durable HDPE shelves complete the practical bundle.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 300 lb capacity actually hold on each shelf?

The 300 lb rating applies to the entire cart when weight is evenly distributed across all three shelves, not per individual shelf.

What does the 4-inch caster size mean for moving through doorways?

The 4-inch full swivel casters allow the 19.25-inch wide cart to navigate narrow hallways and sharp turns, with two locking casters to secure it in place.

Will the 24 by 18 inch shelves fit in my 27.75 inch long storage closet?

The cart measures 27.75 inches long overall, so it requires a space slightly deeper than the 24-inch shelf length to fit and maneuver.
