Starlink Mini USB-C Extension Cable

This 0.3 metre power extension cord connects a Starlink Mini terminal to a USB-C power source. It is intended for users who need a short, waterproof link between the dish and a 65W or higher PD charger or power bank during camping or mobile use. The cable carries 12V at up to 65W through 18AWG conductors.

Practical limits of USB-C PD power delivery

The cable is rated for 65W at 12V, so the connected charger or power bank must support USB Power Delivery at that voltage and wattage. Standard 5V or 9V outputs will not drive the Starlink Mini. The 0.3 metre length keeps voltage drop low, but it also restricts placement distance between the power source and the terminal.

Simple plug-and-play installation

The male USB-C and female DC connectors are precision-moulded for a secure, straight-insert fit without locking clips. No tools or configuration are required; the cord is ready to use once both ends are seated. The main risk is using a charger that cannot negotiate 12V 65W PD, which will leave the terminal unpowered.

Questions about this item

Which length and gauge should I choose for my Starlink Mini setup?

This cable is 0.3 m long and built with 18 AWG conductors, matching the original Starlink Mini power cable for a direct replacement.

What does the 65 W rating mean when I plug it into my charger?

The cord is rated for 12 V operation up to 65 W, so a USB-C PD charger or power bank delivering 65 W or more can power the Starlink Mini through this extension without loss.

What connector standard does the USB-C end use and what does it limit?

The USB-C plug carries USB Power Delivery at 12 V, capping the extension at 65 W while keeping the connection waterproof and secure for outdoor use.
