It supports Windows and Mac OS with hot-plug capability so devices can be connected without powering down. The aluminium alloy housing resists oxidation and heat for longer service life. Plug-and-Play installation and common issues

No drivers or apps are required; simply connect the four HDMI and USB 2.0 sources to the switch and the single HDMI output to the display. The unit does not support HDMI to DisplayPort conversion, so DisplayPort monitors need an active adapter not included. Hot-plugging is supported but switching while a host is writing to a USB storage device may interrupt the transfer.
