50ft Gray CAT6a Cable for 10GbE Networks

This 50-foot StarTech CAT6a patch cord supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 100 Watt PoE++ power delivery. It uses shielded S/FTP construction with 27AWG pure bare copper conductors rated to 500 MHz. The LSZH jacket and snagless RJ45 connectors with strain reliefs are Fluke tested and ETL verified.

Verify Connector Clearance and Shielding Needs

Ensure your patch panel or switch ports have enough depth for the snagless boots and that your installation permits shielded S/FTP cabling with proper grounding. The LSZH jacket is suited for plenum or riser spaces requiring low-smoke materials. Buyers needing longer runs beyond 50 feet or unshielded UTP cable should consider a different specification.

Questions about this item

Does the 50ft Gray CAT6a cable include both RJ45 connectors or must they be purchased separately?

The cable arrives with snagless RJ45 plugs already crimped on both ends and integrated strain reliefs, so no additional connectors are required.

Should I choose the 50ft length or a different length for a 10GbE run at 500MHz?

At 50ft the shielded 27AWG pure bare copper construction meets 10GbE and 500MHz performance; select a shorter length only if the distance between devices is less than 50ft.
