12 cm AC fan kit for server racks

This 12 cm AC fan kit mounts in a server rack or cabinet to increase airflow and help extend the life of installed equipment. It is designed for administrators who need a straightforward way to improve cooling in a standard rack enclosure.

Standard AC power connection

The fan runs from a standard AC supply and ships with a removable 115 V plug for direct current use. It delivers 107 CFM at 3050 RPM while producing 47.5 dBA of noise, and the ball-bearing motor is built for continuous operation in a rack environment.

Replaces passive ventilation or failed rack fans

This kit replaces passive vent panels or worn-out rack fans when active airflow is required to keep temperatures in check. The upgrade is worth it when equipment density or ambient heat makes passive cooling insufficient and a mains-powered fan is preferred over DC alternatives.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12cm AC fan kit for my rack?

The 12cm ACFANKIT12 delivers 107 CFM at 3050 RPM with 47.5 dBA noise, fitting standard server racks that need direct 115V AC power and a ball-bearing fan.

What does the 107 CFM airflow figure mean inside a live server cabinet?

It moves 107 cubic feet of air per minute at 3050 RPM, pushing heat out of the rack so components stay cooler under load.

Does the 115V AC plug limit where I can install the fan?

The removable 115V plug lets you wire the fan directly to AC mains or keep the plug for a standard outlet, so installation works wherever 115V AC power is available.
