Long-range USB 2.0 extension over Ethernet

This extender kit connects a USB 2.0 host to a remote device over Cat5e or Cat6 cabling up to 492 ft (150 m). A local transmitter links to a powered remote receiver without any software or configuration. The compact metal enclosures suit installations where standard USB cables cannot reach.

Suits fixed installations needing remote USB access

Ideal for warehouses, classrooms and boardrooms where webcams, barcode scanners, printers or other USB 2.0 peripherals must operate far from the host computer. Not intended for portable use or for applications requiring USB 3.0 bandwidth or bus power without the included power adapter.

Maximum reach of 492 ft over Cat5e or Cat6

The single decisive specification is the 492 ft (150 m) extension distance achieved with Cat5e or better Ethernet cable. This range determines whether the kit can bridge the gap between your host and the remote USB device in your environment.
