Red Cat6 patch cable supports 10 Gbps over 160 ft with 24 AWG copper and 100 W PoE
This two-foot red Cat6 patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and moulded RJ-45 plugs on both ends. It is rated for 250 MHz bandwidth and supports multi-gigabit speeds up to 10 Gbps over short distances. The UL-listed jacket and ETL verification make it suitable for permanent or temporary installations.
The short length suits server racks, patch panels and desk-side connections where excess cable would block airflow. Builders needing runs longer than 160 ft or outdoor-rated jackets should select a different cable type.
The cable plugs directly into any RJ-45 jack on switches, routers, servers or IP cameras. It carries up to 100 W of Power over Ethernet, so separate power adapters for compatible devices are not required.

It uses standard RJ-45 male connectors on both ends, so it plugs directly into any Gigabit or Multi-Gigabit RJ-45 port on a switch, router, or network card without adapters.
Yes, the link auto-negotiates to the highest common speed; Cat 5e segments support 1 Gbps, while this cable is rated for 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps up to 160 ft at 250 MHz.
Check the link speed LED on the switch or run a speed test between two endpoints; a negotiated rate of 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, or 10 Gbps confirms the 24 AWG stranded copper and 250 MHz bandwidth are functioning correctly.
