USB-C audio and 60W charge adapter

This adapter adds a 3.5mm TRRS headset jack to USB-C phones, tablets or laptops while passing through up to 60W of USB Power Delivery 3.0 charging. A built-in DAC handles audio output for legacy headsets with integrated microphones. The compact silver dongle measures 0.40" x 2.00" x 0.90" and weighs 0.02 lb.

60W Power Delivery pass-through limit

The USB-C female port accepts a PD 3.0 charger and forwards up to 60W to the host device. It also supports BC 1.2 fast charging for smartphones when a standard USB-C power adapter is used. The adapter itself draws no external power and operates between 0°C and 45°C.

TRRS headset support with single-port hosts

One USB-C port on the host gains both analogue audio and charging capability, removing the need for a separate splitter or dock. The side-mounted connectors keep cables clear of the workspace. It is not suited for devices that require digital audio output or multi-channel surround formats.

Questions about this item

Should I choose this single 3.5mm TRRS version or look for a dual-jack model?

This adapter provides one 3.5mm TRRS jack that carries both stereo output and microphone input, so a single legacy headset with a combined plug works directly without needing separate headphone and mic ports.

What does the 60W Power Delivery pass-through actually deliver to my laptop?

The USB-C port accepts up to 60W from a PD 3.0 charger and passes that power through to the host while the audio function runs, keeping the laptop charged during calls or playback.

How does the USB-C 24-pin connector limit what I can plug in?

The connector handles USB Power Delivery and digital audio only; it does not carry video or Thunderbolt data, so the adapter works with USB-C phones, tablets and laptops that support audio accessory mode.
