Secure Multi-Monitor KVM Switch

The StarTech CK4-PM202C is a 2-port quad-monitor KVM switch designed for secure government and defence environments. It allows a single keyboard, mouse and CAC reader to control two DisplayPort sources across four HDMI displays. NIAP 4.0 certification and anti-tamper switches meet strict assurance requirements.

NIAP 4.0 Certified Security

The decisive specification is NIAP 4.0 certification, which validates the switch for handling classified or sensitive data. Anti-tamper hardware and a dedicated CAC port prevent unauthorised access and data leakage between connected systems. TAA compliance and United States manufacture satisfy federal procurement mandates.

Passive Metal Housing

A rugged metal chassis dissipates heat without fans, so the unit runs silently in server rooms or desktop deployments. Power draw is limited to the switching logic and video signal conditioning, keeping thermal load negligible. No active cooling means zero acoustic contribution in normal use.

Questions about this item

How does the 4K 30 Hz spec translate across the four HDMI outputs when the switch is in use?

Each of the four HDMI outputs can display up to 4K at 30 Hz, so all four screens run at that resolution and refresh rate simultaneously.

What does the DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion mean for the maximum video bandwidth available to each monitor?

The switch accepts two DisplayPort inputs and converts them to four HDMI outputs, limiting each display to the 4K 30 Hz ceiling defined by the HDMI path.

What physical mounting options does the metal housing provide for a server rack or desktop?

The metal housing is designed for rack mounting with included brackets and can also sit on a desktop without additional hardware.
