Podcast bundle with 7.1 sound card
This package combines a BM-800 condenser microphone, scissor arm stand, shock mount, pop filter and the AM200-V8 USB sound card. It is intended for streamers, podcasters and home-studio users who want an all-in-one recording kit. The card delivers 7.1 channel audio at 48 KHz sample rate and connects via USB without additional drivers. Compatibility spans Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, PS4, Xbox and Switch.
Sustained streaming and recording behaviour
The USB interface supplies both power and data, so the card runs continuously during long sessions without a separate power supply. FireWire 1394 ports and RCA S/PDIF in/out remain active for external gear while the microphone captures cardioid-pattern audio. No driver installation means the signal chain stays stable across operating-system updates or device switches.
Setup checks before ordering
Verify that your computer or mobile device has a free USB-A or USB-C port for the sound card and that your recording software can select a 48 KHz, 7.1 channel USB audio device. Confirm you have desk space for the scissor arm stand and that your monitoring headphones or speakers accept the available RCA or auxiliary outputs. Buyers who need internal PCIe installation or analogue line-level outputs should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
How much power does the USB-powered AM200-V8 draw during long streaming sessions?
The AM200-V8 draws power directly from the USB connection, so it runs without an external adapter and adds minimal load to your computer or phone port.
What must I already own to use the BM-800 microphone with this sound card?
You need a device with a USB port — computer, tablet, phone or console — and the supplied USB cable; the bundle includes the microphone, stand, shock mount, pop filter and cables.
Will the AM200-V8 work alongside my older FireWire 1394 audio interface?
Yes, the sound card connects via USB while your FireWire 1394 device uses its own port, so both can be active in your recording software at the same time.
