2U Hinged Wall Bracket

The StarTech.com JCM-HWRF is a 2U hinged wall-mount bracket built for 19-inch networking, server and IT equipment. It suits installers who need quick rear access to patch panels or switches in tight spaces.

Hinged Access and Mounting

A hinged side stays open during equipment installation and swings out for cable management or port configuration. The bracket mounts directly to a wall and accepts standard 19-inch gear up to 22 pounds.

Steel Build for Static Load

Cold-rolled steel construction supports the rated 22-pound capacity under continuous load. The fixed 6-inch depth and 3.54-inch height keep the profile compact while holding mounted devices securely.

Questions about this item

Will the 22-pound weight limit hold a fully loaded patch panel without sagging over time?

The cold-rolled steel bracket is rated for 22 pounds (10 kg) and ships fully assembled, so a loaded 19-inch panel stays level.

Does the hinged mechanism generate any noise or heat during continuous operation?

There are no moving parts under power; the hinge is passive steel and produces no noise, heat or electrical draw.

What mounting hardware must I already have to attach this to a concrete wall?

The kit includes equipment screws only; you need wall anchors and lag bolts sized for your wall type.
