This twelve-inch cable connects two four-pin PWM fans to a single power-supply header. The female TX4 plug attaches to the supply while two male TX4 connectors feed the fans. It is built with twenty-six AWG wire in a black sheath.

Practical limit of one header

A single motherboard or power-supply header can only report one fan speed and send one PWM duty cycle to both fans. The two fans will therefore spin at the same rate and the system will see only one RPM signal. Builders needing independent speed control or monitoring for each fan cannot use this splitter.
