In-wall HDMI connection port

This white wall plate adds a single female HDMI outlet to a standard single-gang box for clean, professional video installations. It accepts any standard or high-speed HDMI cable with a 19-pin connector on both sides. The gender changer design lets you run cables through the wall and plug in at the plate. Ideal for home theatres, classrooms or meeting rooms needing a permanent, tidy connection point.

Upgrade from exposed cable runs

Replacing loose cables passing through drywall holes with this plate protects connectors from damage and eliminates trip hazards. The jump is worth it when you want a finished look without visible wiring behind a TV or projector. It also secures the cable ends so they cannot be pulled loose during daily use. Not suited for installations that require multiple ports, angled connectors or keystone-style modularity.

Single-port capacity and headroom

The plate handles one HDMI link at the full bandwidth your cable supports, passing video and audio without active circuitry. Headroom is limited to a single connection; you cannot daisy-chain or split the signal from this outlet. Runs out when the installation needs a second HDMI drop, a different connector type or an in-wall cable run longer than your chosen cable allows. Weight is .11 kg.

Questions about this item

What size wall box does the HDMIPLATE fit?

The wall plate is designed for a single gang box which is included with the unit.

How do I install the HDMIPLATE and what step is often missed?

Mount the included single gang box in the wall then snap the white wall plate onto it; the step often missed is securing the box flush before attaching the plate.

Will the HDMI female ports on the HDMIPLATE wear out and need replacement?

The 19 pin female HDMI connectors are rated for repeated insertion cycles and do not have a user-replaceable module; the entire wall plate would be swapped if a port fails.
