Secure HDMI cable for fixed installations

This two-metre HDMI 2.0 cable fits displays and source devices that use a top locking screw port. The single screw connector prevents accidental disconnection caused by vibration or cable tension. It is built for offices, boardrooms and similar spaces where a permanent link to a TV, monitor or projector is required. The male-to-male layout suits standard HDMI ports on both ends.

Braided shield with flexible TPE jacket

Aluminium-Mylar foil and braid shielding protect the gold-plated conductors from interference. The thermoplastic elastomer jacket stays supple for easier routing around corners and through trunking. A removable knurled thumbscrew allows tool-less installation and removal when the lock is not needed. The slim profile reduces bulk behind mounted screens.

18 Gbps bandwidth for 4K 60 Hz HDR

The cable carries 18 Gbps, enabling 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz with HDR and 21:9 aspect ratio support. It also transports 32-channel multi-stream audio at 1536 kHz and includes the Ethernet channel. Buyers who need higher refresh rates at 4K or 8K resolution should choose a cable rated for greater bandwidth.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the HDMI 2.0 cable cap at in practice?

The cable supports 18 Gbps, which carries 4K at 60 Hz with HDR, 21:9 aspect ratio and 32-channel audio at 1536 Hz.

What physical space does the locking screw connector need to fit?

One end has a top-mounted knurled thumbscrew that requires a matching threaded HDMI port; the other end is a standard male HDMI plug.

How is the locking screw installed and what step do people miss?

Hand-tighten the removable knurled thumbscrew into the device's threaded port for a tool-less secure connection; the common mistake is leaving it loose, which defeats the vibration resistance.
