SKU CH-VEDK-WA5ZV MPN N6PAT5YLS

A 5 ft yellow slim Cat6 patch cable rated for 10 Gbps and 100 W PoE, 36 % slimmer for better airflow with snagless RJ45 plugs and an LSZH jacket

  • Slim profile improves airflow in dense racks
  • 28 AWG bare copper carries 10 Gbps Ethernet
  • Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the latch during moves
  • LSZH jacket limits smoke if a fire occurs

Slim Cat6 cable for dense installs

This 5 ft yellow Cat6 patch cord uses 28 AWG bare copper conductors and a low-smoke zero-halogen jacket that is 36 % slimmer than standard cables. The reduced diameter improves airflow in crowded racks and panels while supporting 10 Gbps Ethernet and 100 W Power over Ethernet. Gold-plated snagless RJ45 connectors resist corrosion and protect the latch during frequent moves.

Sustained 10 Gbps and 100 W PoE delivery

Low near-end crosstalk and return loss keep signal integrity stable over long runs at full 10 Gbps throughput. The LSZH jacket meets fire-safety requirements without adding bulk, so heat dissipation remains consistent when the cable carries continuous 100 W PoE loads. Pure bare copper conductors minimise resistance, preventing voltage drop during extended power delivery.

Questions about this item

How much heat builds up when the 28AWG cable carries 100W PoE all day?

The 28AWG bare-copper conductors are rated for 100W PoE; the slim 36% profile improves airflow in crowded racks, reducing heat retention during continuous use.

Does the snagless RJ45 connector need a special port or tool to work?

No, the snagless RJ45 plugs fit standard Cat6 keystones and switch ports without any extra tooling or adapters.
