Slim Cat6 cable for dense racks

The StarTech N6PAT7GRS is a 7-foot unshielded twisted-pair patch cord built with 28 AWG bare copper conductors. Its slim profile suits crowded server cabinets, patch panels and desktop runs where space is tight. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs on both ends resist corrosion and ensure reliable contact.

Cat6 bandwidth and PoE ceiling

The Cat6 rating supports up to 10 gigabit per second Ethernet and carries up to 100 watt Power over Ethernet. The 28 AWG gauge limits maximum run length compared with thicker conductors, so plan shorter links in high-speed or high-power deployments.

36 percent slimmer for airflow

The jacket diameter is 36 percent smaller than standard Cat6 cable, reducing congestion and improving airflow inside cabinets. Low-smoke zero-halogen material meets safety requirements for plenum and riser spaces where halogen-free cable is mandated.
