50 ft Cat6 snagless patch cable

This 50 ft red Cat6 UTP patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded 100% copper conductors with 50-micron gold RJ45 connectors. Molded snagless boots protect the latch during installation and removal. ETL verification confirms the cable meets Category 6 performance requirements. It is suited for home offices, small business networks and temporary cross-room links.

Sustained throughput and crosstalk control

The cable is constructed and tested to minimise Near End Crosstalk across the full 250 MHz bandwidth. It supports 1 Gbps Ethernet at 650 MHz and multi-gigabit rates of 2.5 and 5 Gbps plus 10 Gbps up to 160 ft. PoE loads up to 100 W are carried without degradation over the 50 ft run.

Upgrade from Cat5e or shorter runs

Replaces Cat5e patch cords when 2.5 Gbps or 5 Gbps switches are deployed or when PoE+ devices demand 100 W delivery. The 50 ft length covers desk-to-switch distances that shorter cables cannot reach without couplers. The jump is worth it when existing cables limit link speed or power budget.
