Shielded 15 ft Cat6a cable tested to 500 MHz for 10 Gbps Ethernet with snagless molded RJ45 connectors
This 15 ft shielded Cat6a S/FTP cable is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 500 MHz. The double shielding blocks electromagnetic interference and radio-frequency noise to keep throughput stable. It suits installers who need reliable 10GBase-T runs in electrically noisy environments. Buyers needing longer unrepeatered spans or outdoor-rated jackets should look elsewhere.
As a passive copper cable it generates no heat, emits no sound and draws no power during normal operation. The shield simply conducts interference to ground without active components. There are no fans, pumps or semiconductors to consider. The only thermal factor is ambient temperature affecting the jacket material.
Both ends carry snagless, molded RJ45 plugs that protect the locking tabs from bending or breaking during routing. The strain-relief molding reduces stress at the connector junction when cables are pulled through trunking or tight bends. The blue jacket aids quick visual identification in dense patch panels. The fixed 15 ft length cannot be shortened or extended without re-termination.

Press the RJ45 plugs straight into each port until the snagless tab clicks; do not force the boot at an angle or pull by the cable jacket.
Inspect the molded boots and foil shield for kinks or crushed sections; replace the cable if the shielding is torn or the snagless tabs no longer latch.
The cable is tested to 500 MHz; sustained 10GBase-T traffic near that bandwidth ceiling will reveal insertion-loss limits first.
