Shielded Cat6a patch cable delivers 10 Gbps at 500 MHz with snagless RJ45 plugs, 100 W PoE++ support and LSZH jacket

  • Supports 10Gbps speeds for 10GBASE-T networks

  • Shielded S/FTP design with 27AWG bare copper reduces crosstalk
  • LSZH jacket emits low smoke and passes 100W PoE

25ft Orange Cat6a Patch Cable

This 25ft orange Cat6a patch cable uses S/FTP shielding and 27AWG bare copper conductors to support 10Gbps throughput at 500MHz. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors with snagless boots and strain reliefs ensure reliable insertion in dense patch panels. The LSZH jacket meets low-smoke requirements and the cable carries ETL verification plus Fluke testing for consistent 10GBASE-T performance. It also delivers up to 100W PoE++ for powered devices.

Upgrade from Cat5e or unshielded Cat6

Replace older Cat5e or unshielded Cat6 runs when 10GBASE-T speeds or 100W PoE++ are needed and alien crosstalk must be suppressed. The shielded S/FTP construction reduces NEXT and return loss in crowded trays where unshielded cables degrade. Not suited for buyers who need longer reach than 25ft or installations requiring outdoor-rated or plenum jackets.

Questions about this item

What size RJ45 ports does the snagless connector on this 25ft cable fit?

The snagless RJ45 plugs are sized for standard 8P8C Ethernet ports on switches, routers, servers and patch panels.

Which end of the cable should be plugged in first to avoid bending the strain-relief boot?

Route the cable along its path, then press each RJ45 plug straight into its port until the tab clicks; pulling the boot sideways can weaken the strain relief.
