SKU CH-NACA-E9D3K MPN NLPL-10F-CAT6A-PATCH

A 10ft purple Cat6a S/FTP patch cable supporting 10Gbps at 500MHz with 27AWG bare copper, snagless 50-micro gold RJ45 connectors, 100W PoE capability and an LSZH jacket for low-smoke installations

  • Supports 10 Gbps data rates for high-speed networking
  • Snagless 50-micro gold connectors prevent latch damage and signal loss
  • S/FTP shielding with foil and braid blocks electromagnetic interference
  • LSZH jacket emits low smoke and no halogen in fire
  • 27 AWG pure bare copper conductors ensure reliable conductivity

10ft Purple Cat6a S/FTP Cable

This shielded Category 6a patch cable delivers a 10 Gbps link between switches, routers or endpoints. Pure bare copper conductors and full S/FTP shielding keep latency low and EMI rejection high in demanding network runs.

Capacity and headroom

Rated for 500 MHz bandwidth, the cable comfortably carries 10 Gbps Ethernet and 100 W Power over Ethernet. The 27 AWG conductors limit voltage drop on PoE loads, but longer runs beyond the specified length will exceed the standard channel budget.

Build quality and connectors

Snagless 50-micro gold-plated RJ45 plugs resist latch breakage during frequent re-patching. Each pair is wrapped in aluminum-mylar foil and an overall tinned copper braid for continuous shielding. The LSZH jacket meets low-smoke, zero-halogen requirements for confined or regulated installations.

Questions about this item

Will this 10 ft Cat6a cable work with my existing Gigabit switch and older Cat5e patch cords?

Yes, the S/FTP Cat6a cable is backward compatible with Gigabit and 10/100 equipment, so it will link at the highest speed both ends support.

How can I verify the link is running at 10 Gbps after I plug it in?

Check the port LEDs on your switch or router — they typically show amber or green for 10 Gbps — and confirm the negotiated speed in your OS network adapter settings.

Does the box include only the purple 10 ft S/FTP cable with snagless RJ45 plugs, or are any tools or couplers supplied?

Only the 10 ft purple Cat6a S/FTP patch cable with snagless 50-micro gold-plated RJ45 connectors is included; no tools, couplers or additional accessories are bundled.
