  • 100 W PoE support powers devices over the same cable
  • LSZH jacket reduces smoke and fumes in fire conditions

5 ft Purple Cat6a cable for 10 Gbps links

This 5 ft purple Cat6a patch cable carries 10 Gbps Ethernet and 100 W PoE through S/FTP shielded conductors. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the latch during frequent moves. The LSZH jacket limits smoke if the cable ever burns. It suits installers who need a short, high-bandwidth drop in a coloured run.

Shielded S/FTP construction fits tight panels

The 27 AWG stranded conductors and S/FTP shielding keep alien crosstalk low at 500 MHz, so the link stays clean beside power cables or in dense patch panels. Snagless boots slide through cable managers without catching. Buyers who need longer reach or a different jacket rating should choose another length or specification.

Questions about this item

Will the 27 AWG conductors handle 100 W PoE without overheating during sustained use?

The cable is rated for 100 W PoE, so the 27 AWG conductors are designed to carry that power level continuously without exceeding temperature limits.

Does the S/FTP shielding keep the cable cool and quiet when running 10 Gbps all day?

Shielding does not generate noise or heat; the cable is passive, so it adds no audible sound and its temperature rise comes only from the 100 W PoE current it is rated to carry.
