  • Flexible LSZH jacket resists fire and smoke

10 ft red Cat6a patch cable

This 10 ft red Cat6a patch cable is built for 10 Gbps networking and 500 MHz bandwidth. Snagless S/FTP shielding keeps near-end crosstalk and return loss low. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts and 27 AWG bare copper conductors support 100 W PoE. The flexible LSZH jacket suits rack and desk runs.

Sustained 10 Gbps throughput

Under continuous load the S/FTP construction maintains signal integrity at 500 MHz without the degradation seen in unshielded links. The 27 AWG conductors and LSZH jacket handle 100 W PoE heat rise over the full 10 ft length. Builders who need longer reach or higher PoE classes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the cable generate heat or consume power when running all day?

The cable is passive, so it produces no heat and draws no power itself; only the connected PoE devices use the 100W budget.

What devices must I already own for this cable to work?

You need two pieces of equipment with RJ45 ports, such as a 10GBASE-T switch and a server or workstation.
