4U VESA Bracket for 17-19in LCD Panels

This mounting bracket fits 17 to 19 inch LCD panels into a standard 19 inch rack or cabinet. It occupies four rack units and supports both 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 VESA hole patterns. The reversible design allows the panel to be mounted inside or outside the rack enclosure.

Adjustable Depth and Reversible Mounting

An adjustable depth mechanism lets installers position the monitor so the rack door can still close. The bracket can be flipped to mount larger displays on the exterior of the rack for easier viewing. Compatibility with the StarTech.com 4POSTRACKBK extends mounting options to four-post rack frames.

Suits Server Room Monitoring.

This kit is aimed at administrators who need a rack-mounted touch-screen or status display for server room monitoring and control. It will not work with panels that lack 75 or 100 mm VESA mounting holes or that fall outside the 17 to 19 inch size range.

Questions about this item

Does the adjustable depth design need any periodic tightening or lubrication to keep the rack door closing properly?

The bracket uses fixed mounting holes and a sliding depth adjustment that locks with screws; no moving parts require lubrication or scheduled tightening.

What stops the 17 to 19 inch LCD panel from flexing the 4U bracket when the rack door is shut?

The bracket spans the full 19 inch rack width and locks at both front and rear rails, so the door presses against the panel, not the bracket.

Will the black powder-coat finish radiate enough heat to affect a touchscreen panel mounted outside the rack all day?

The bracket is passive steel with no electronics; it adds no measurable heat and the finish does not change the panel's own thermal behaviour.
