  • 3 ft length suits short rack-to-rack runs
  • LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic fumes in fire

1m LC/SC OS2 Singlemode Duplex Cable

This one-metre duplex jumper connects LC and SC/UPC interfaces over OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9/125 µm core. It is built for 100G links in data-centre, campus or carrier patching where low insertion loss matters. The LSZH jacket meets low-smoke, zero-halogen requirements for indoor routing.

Indoor Single-Mode Patch Leads Only

The cable suits installers patching transceivers, panels or enclosures inside buildings where OS2 single-mode is specified. It does not support multimode cores, angled-polish connectors, outdoor plant ratings or runs longer than the supplied length.

9/125 µm OS2 Core Decides Compatibility

The 9/125 µm single-mode core determines whether this jumper matches the link budget and transceiver wavelength. Verify the equipment requires OS2 single-mode with UPC polish before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the LSZH jacket on this 1m OS2 cable add heat or power draw when installed in a rack all day?

The LSZH jacket is a passive safety material and does not generate heat or consume power during continuous operation.

What connectors must my patch panel or transceiver already have to plug this LC-to-SC duplex cable directly in?

One end needs an LC UPC port and the other a SC UPC port, both single-mode, to match the cable connectors.

Will the 9/125 µm OS2 single-mode fibre work alongside the older OM1 multimode cables I already have in the same link?

No, OS2 single-mode and OM1 multimode fibres are not interchangeable in the same optical path.
