Short cable for quick connections

This 15 cm USB-A to USB-C cable suits anyone who wants a short, tidy link between a computer or charger and a phone, tablet or small accessory. The male-to-male design plugs straight in without adapters, and the black TPE jacket resists everyday wear. It is a practical choice for desk docking, car charging or packing in a slim pouch.

USB 2.0 speed and 3 A power

The cable runs at USB 2.0 with a 480 Mbps data rate, fast enough for syncing contacts, photos or documents but not for large video libraries or drive imaging. It delivers up to 3 A for charging, so most phones and compact devices reach full speed, while power-hungry laptops or high-current tablets will draw less than their maximum.

Length and connector limits

At 5.9 inches the cable removes clutter but cannot bridge a gap between floor outlets and a raised monitor or across a wide desk. The fixed USB-A and USB-C ends mean it will not work with USB-A hosts that need a USB-C port or with legacy Micro-B devices unless a separate adapter is added.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 cm cable reach a rear USB-A port on an older desktop tower?

At 15 cm the cable is very short; it only reaches ports that are close together, so measure the gap before relying on it for a rear-panel connection.

How can I confirm the link is running at 480 Mbps after plugging it in?

Check the host device’s USB settings or system profiler — it should list the connection as USB 2.0 480 Mbps when the cable is seated correctly.

Does the package include a power adapter or only the USB-A to USB-C cable?

Only the 15 cm USB-A to USB-C cable with TPE jacket is included; any wall charger or hub must be purchased separately.
