1000 ft Cat 6 bulk cable

This 1000-foot roll of Cat 6 ethernet cable is built for installers who need long runs of grey patch cable. The jacket carries a CM rating for in-wall use and the stranded 24 AWG copper conductors are foot-marked for quick measurement.

Suited for structured wiring jobs

Electricians and network technicians pulling cable through walls or ceilings will appreciate the foot markings and CM rating. Buyers who need pre-terminated patch cords or a different jacket colour should look at other options.

CM-rated in-wall jacket

The CM rating confirms the cable meets the fire-safety requirement for permanent installation inside walls. Without that rating the roll cannot be used for code-compliant in-wall runs.

Questions about this item

What does the Cat 6 rating mean for real-world network speed?

This cable supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-TX Gigabit Ethernet, so it handles up to 1 Gbps in a typical home or office installation.

How does the CM rating affect where I can run the cable?

The CM rating means the cable is approved for in-wall and general indoor use, but it is not rated for plenum spaces or outdoor exposure.

What physical space does a 1000 ft roll need for storage or pulling?

The 1000 ft bulk roll is foot-marked for easy measurement and uses 24 AWG stranded copper, making it flexible enough to pull through conduit or cable trays.
