Siberia 150 headset overview

The SteelSeries Siberia 150 is a wired gaming headset built for PC, Mac and PS4 users who want a lightweight over-ear design. It connects through a built-in USB audio link and adds RGB illumination on the ear cups. DTS Headphone:X 7.1 virtual surround creates a 3D audio space for games and media. The black finish keeps the look clean and understated.

Installation and common issues

Plug the USB connector into a free port and the device is recognised without extra drivers on Windows, macOS and PlayStation 4. Install SteelSeries Engine 3 to adjust equaliser settings, microphone levels and RGB lighting effects. A frequent issue is forgetting to enable the 7.1 surround option in the software, which leaves audio in stereo. Another is selecting the wrong default playback device in system sound settings after first connection.

Compatibility checklist

Confirm your system has an available USB-A port for the headset’s integrated audio adapter. Verify that SteelSeries Engine 3 supports your operating system version before relying on advanced customisation. Ensure the PS4 system software is current so the USB audio class driver loads correctly. Check that the over-ear cup dimensions suit your head shape for long sessions.
