Premium Xbox 360 headset

The SteelSeries Spectrum 5XB Medal of Honor headset is a wired stereo headset built for Xbox 360 players. It uses custom 40mm SunDancer drivers to deliver a detailed soundscape that helps locate in-game audio cues. XL cloth ear cushions provide a comfortable around-ear fit for long sessions. A retractable unidirectional microphone handles Xbox LIVE voice chat.

Three-part design with inline mixer

The headset dismantles into three separate pieces for compact storage and transport. A durable double-braided nylon cable connects to the included Spectrum AudioMixer, which plugs into the Xbox 360 controller. The mixer puts independent game and chat volume controls at your fingertips. LiveMix lets you boost chat over game sound with a single button press.

Upgrade from basic mono headsets

This headset replaces the standard Xbox 360 mono communicator with full stereo audio and a retractable boom mic. The jump is worth it for players who want directional sound and separate volume balances without shouting over explosions. It is not for buyers who want more than stereo channels, wireless freedom, or compatibility with modern consoles.
