Purpose & Audience

The Stellapex CM-BC7WU is a 2K solar-powered surveillance kit built for homeowners who want wireless outdoor monitoring without monthly fees. It suits properties where running power or network cables is impractical and where instant AI alerts matter more than a local recorder.

Sustained Operation

A 9000mAh battery paired with a high-efficiency solar panel keeps the camera running through weeks of overcast weather and across temperatures from -20°C to 45°C. IP66 sealing protects the electronics from rain and dust, while dual-band WiFi 2.4G/5G maintains a stable link for continuous live view and playback.

Deciding Specification

The system records at 2K resolution (1440p) using a 2MP sensor and an F1.6 lens with AI-ISP HDR, delivering colour night vision to 33ft and infrared to the same range. No internal hard drive is included, so footage is stored in the cloud or on a microSD card rather than on a local NVR.

Questions about this item

Does the 9000mAh battery and solar panel keep the camera running through a full day of 2K recording?

The 9000mAh battery paired with the high-efficiency solar panel is designed for year-round power, and the IP66 housing operates from -20°C to 45°C for continuous 24/7 surveillance.

What must I already have at home for the CM-BC7WU to connect and record?

You need a 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi network and the free Cinmoore app on a smartphone; the camera also includes an RJ45 port and supports PoE if you prefer a wired link.

Will the camera work alongside my older 1080p DVR that uses BNC cables?

The CM-BC7WU is a standalone IP camera with dual-band WiFi and ONVIF support, so it does not connect directly to a BNC DVR; it records to its own app or compatible NVR instead.
