Vehicle Fitment & Purpose

This kit adapts the factory soundbar in 2018 to 2022 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020 to 2022 Gladiator JT models for aftermarket speaker upgrades. It suits owners who want better audio performance while keeping the original interior appearance intact.

Installation Notes

The package includes adapter plates, wiring harnesses, grilles with factory-style texture, and cutting templates for the soundbar. Some factory modifications are required to fit the new speakers, so basic trimming tools and patience are needed for a clean result.

Speaker Compatibility

The adaptors accept either a pair of 6X9 coaxial speakers or a set of 6.5 coaxial or component speakers. Buyers who want to retain the exact factory speaker size or avoid any cutting should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the adaptors are seated correctly in the 2018-2022 Wrangler soundbar after installation?

The adaptors are engineered to fit the original soundbar and blend into the original appearance; once mounted, the factory-style grill pattern and texture should sit flush with the soundbar surface and the speaker harnesses plug directly into the existing connectors.

What hardware is included in the kit and what must I source separately?

The kit includes adapter plates for 6X9 coaxial, 6.5 coaxial or 6.5 component speakers, speaker harnesses for universal connection, grilles with factory-style texture, and cutting templates; aftermarket speakers themselves are not included.

Which speaker size — 6X9 or 6.5 — should I choose for my 2020-2022 Gladiator?

Both 6X9 coaxial and 6.5 coaxial or component speakers are supported by the included adapter plates; select the size that matches the aftermarket speakers you plan to install.
