Component to HDMI Converter

This SUNNATCH converter connects component video sources such as DVD players, PSP or PS2 consoles to modern HDMI displays including HDTVs, monitors and projectors. The unit accepts YPbPr component video plus stereo RCA audio and outputs a digital HDMI signal. A built-in scaler engine resolves common compatibility problems such as no video, black-and-white output, distorted images or intermittent signal loss. No software installation is required.

Scaler engine and resolution selection

The integrated scaler converts unstable timing from legacy devices into stable HDMI output at several preset resolutions: 800 x 600@60Hz, 1024 x 768@60Hz, 1280 x 1024@60Hz, 720P@60Hz and 1080P@60Hz. Users select the desired output by pressing the switch button on the converter. Correct cable matching is essential: green to Y, blue to Pb, red to Pr for video; white and red for left and right audio channels. The converter is one-way only and cannot pass HDMI signals back to component inputs.
