A 3.3 V PCI card providing two E1/T1/J1 ports for Asterisk-based VoIP systems with optional 128-channel echo cancellation
The SunnyStar TE210P provides two selectable E1, T1 or J1 ports on a 3.3 V PCI interface. It targets system integrators building Asterisk, Trixbox or Elastix gateways that need direct digital trunk connectivity. The half-length, full-height form factor fits standard server slots.
Each of the two ports can be configured independently for E1, T1 or J1 operation, enabling signalling translation between different circuit types. The card supports Primary Rate ISDN, SS7, CAS, HDLC, Frame Relay and fractional voice or data modes on both line-side and trunk-side interfaces.
The card installs in any 3.3 V PCI slot and uses open-source drivers with an API for custom development. An optional VPMOCT128 echo-cancellation module (128 channels) can be added for high-density voice deployments; without it the card provides no hardware echo cancellation.

Two ports let the card handle two independent digital circuits simultaneously, doubling the available voice channels compared with a single-port card and allowing one port for trunk and one for line-side connections.
The 3.3 V PCI slot provides the signalling voltage and physical interface; throughput is bounded by the PCI bus clock, so the card fits any standard 3.3 V PCI or universal PCI slot without adapters.
Half-length means the board occupies a standard short PCI slot depth, while full-height requires a full-size bracket opening; it fits typical servers and workstations but not low-profile or slim cases.
