Check basket fit and run-time limits

No basket included; manual controls aid jams

The unit ships without a waste basket and relies on the user’s own container. A four-mode switch (Auto, Off, Reverse, Fwd) lets you clear jams or force-feed stubborn sheets without extra tools.

Questions about this item

Does the CS522S include a waste basket or must I supply one?

The unit ships without a basket; its extendable arm stretches from 11.7 to 14 inches to sit on most standard waste bins.

How do I decide between strip-cut and cross-cut for this model?

The CS522S is strip-cut only, producing 0.27-inch (7 mm) strips at security level P-1, so no cross-cut option exists.

What does the 6-sheet rating mean when I actually use the shredder?

You can feed up to six sheets of 70 g/m² paper at once; the motor runs for 3 minutes then requires a 20-minute cool-down before the next session.
