650W 80 Plus Gold server power supply

This Supermicro unit delivers 650 watts of continuous power with 80 Plus Gold efficiency. It is built for 2U rack-mount servers that require reliable, high-efficiency operation in multi-node or storage-dense environments.

Redundant hot-swap installation

The supply slides into a compatible 2U chassis bay and locks with a thumbscrew for tool-less replacement. Misalignment of the rear connector is the most common issue; ensure the unit seats fully before tightening to avoid intermittent power faults.

Check chassis bay and voltage input

Verify your server chassis accepts this specific 2U redundant form factor and provides the correct backplane connector. The unit auto-ranges across 110 V AC and 220 V AC inputs, so confirm your facility power matches one of these nominal voltages.
