This 4U server chassis supports motherboards up to 13.68 by 13 inches and provides 36 hot-swap 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drive bays with SES3 monitoring. An optional two-bay 2.5-inch hot-swap module can be added. Seven low-profile expansion slots are available for add-in cards. It is built for dense storage deployments that need direct-attached capacity in a single rack unit.

7 High-Performance Fans and Titanium Supply

Seven 80mm high-performance fans move air through the 4U enclosure to keep 36 drives and the backplane within thermal limits. The included 1U power supply delivers 1200 watts at Titanium efficiency with PMBus monitoring and measures 76 by 336 by 40 millimetres. A 1000-watt rating is also supported for lower-load configurations. Acoustic output rises with fan speed under heavy drive activity.

Dual Backplanes and SES3 Management

A 12-port 2U backplane handles up to eight 3.5-inch SAS3 or SATA3 drives plus four SAS3, SATA3 or NVMe devices, while a 24-port 4U single-expander backplane supports 24 3.5-inch SAS3 or SATA3 drives. SES3 on the 36-bay hot-swap cage provides enclosure-level status and drive health reporting without additional software. The PMBus interface on the power supply allows remote power telemetry through standard management tools.
