1U SC813M Mounting Rail for Supermicro Chassis

The Supermicro CSE-PT52L is a new server accessory designed to install 1U chassis into standard racks. It uses a linear friction rail mechanism that slides smoothly for quick deployment. This rail kit fits 17.2 inch wide and 20 inch deep chassis and is certified for the CSE-813M model. System integrators and data centre technicians use it to secure Supermicro servers efficiently.

Linear Friction Rail Mechanism Simplifies

The linear friction rail mechanism removes the need for tools during routine server insertion and removal. Technicians can slide the chassis in and out on the rails for maintenance without unbolting the unit. Compatibility is limited to the CSE-813M chassis, so builders using other Supermicro or third-party cases must source different rails. The kit includes only the rail pair and mounting hardware shown in the specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the linear friction rail mechanism need periodic lubrication?

The linear friction rail mechanism is designed for maintenance-free operation over the server lifecycle.

What depth limit applies when installing this rail in a 20-inch deep chassis?

The rail supports chassis up to 20 inches deep, so deeper cabinets would exceed the specified mounting range.
