Supports Intel Xeon E and 8th/9th Gen Core CPUs with dual 1GbE LAN, 8 SATA 6.0Gb/s ports and up to 128GB DDR4 ECC memory
The Supermicro MBD-X11SCA-O is an ATX server board built around the Intel C246 chipset and the LGA 1151 socket. It accepts Xeon E-2100 and E-2200 processors as well as 8th and 9th generation Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron chips. Four DDR4 UDIMM slots support up to 64 GB of ECC or non-ECC memory at 2666 MHz.
Two Intel gigabit controllers provide redundant network links, while eight SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 cover local storage arrays. The board lacks onboard video unless a Xeon E-21XXG processor is installed, so a discrete graphics card is required for most CPUs. Buyers who want more storage lanes or integrated graphics on every CPU should look elsewhere.
The socket is rated for processors up to 95 W TDP, so thermal output remains predictable during long compute runs. PCI Express slots operate at x16 or dual x8 for the primary pair, plus one x4 and one x1 slot, keeping bandwidth steady for add-in cards. Dual LAN and SATA controllers maintain throughput without saturating the chipset.

You need an 8th or 9th Generation Intel Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium or Celeron, or a Xeon E-2100 or E-2200 processor, plus a cooler rated for up to 95 W TDP.
Yes, the board supports 2666, 2400, 2133, 1866 and 1600 MHz ECC or non-ECC DDR4 UDIMMs in its four 288-pin slots.
Connect a display to the DisplayPort, HDMI or DVI port; if the Intel UHD P630 driver loads and outputs video, the graphics are working.
