Supports 12th Generation Intel Core processors with DDR5-4000 memory up to 128GB, one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots.
The Supermicro MBD-X13SAZ-Q-O is a Micro ATX server motherboard built around the Intel Q670E chipset and a single LGA 1700 socket. It accepts 12th Generation Intel Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium or Celeron processors with a thermal design power up to 125W. Four 288-pin DDR5 slots support up to 128GB of unbuffered non-ECC memory running at 4000 MT/s. The board measures 9.6 by 9.6 inches and fits standard Micro ATX chassis.
Before ordering, verify that your chosen CPU cooler fits the Micro ATX keep-out zone and that its mounting hardware matches LGA 1700. Confirm your power supply provides the required 12V EPS connector for the 125W TDP ceiling. Ensure the case front-panel USB 3.1 Gen1 and Gen2 headers align with the board's internal pin layout. The board offers one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots in x8 form factor, so check add-in card lengths against case depth.
The rear panel supplies four USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.1 Gen1 headers, two USB 2.0 headers, one HDMI 2.0b, one DVI-D and two DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups. Two serial headers serve legacy management or industrial gear. A single M.2 M-key slot accepts 2280 or 22110 modules over a PCIe 4.0 x4 link, while four SATA 6.0Gb/s ports handle traditional drives. An additional PCIe 4.0 x4 OCuLink connector is present for external storage or accelerators.

The motherboard ships alone; you must add a 12th generation Intel LGA 1700 processor, DDR5-4000 UDIMM modules up to 128 GB total, a Micro ATX case with 9.6" x 9.6" clearance, and a PSU rated for up to 125 W CPU TDP.
Populate all four slots with identical DDR5-4000 UDIMM modules to reach the 128 GB maximum; matching capacity and speed avoids timing mismatches and keeps all channels active.
The slot provides a PCIe 5.0 x16 link from the CPU, giving a graphics or compute card the full 5.0 signalling rate and 16 lanes for maximum throughput.
