Adjustable rail set for 4U chassis

This rail set mounts a 17.2" wide 4U server into standard racks. The rails telescope from 26.5" to 36.4" to fit varying cabinet depths. A quick-release mechanism allows the chassis to be removed without tools. It is designed specifically for the Supermicro 846E1-R710B SuperChassis.

Installers needing tool-less 4U mounting

Suits technicians who require adjustable depth rails with quick-release for the compatible 4U chassis. Not suited for 1U, 2U or 3U form factors. Builders using non-Supermicro enclosures or cabinets outside the 26.5" to 36.4" depth range should look at other options.

Questions about this item

Will the quick-release levers on these rails need periodic lubrication or replacement?

The quick-release mechanism is a fixed mechanical latch; no lubrication schedule or wearable parts are specified for the MCP-290-00057-0N rail set.

At what point does the 26.5 to 36.4 inch depth adjustment reach its limit during continuous server operation?

The rails lock at any point between 26.5 and 36.4 inches; the first hard stop is the cabinet front or rear flange, not the rail mechanism itself.
