Compact 10-Inch Form Factor

The 52Pi DeskPi RackMate T1-Black is an 8U server cabinet built from aluminum alloy and acrylic. Its 10-inch width fits tight desk spaces in home labs, small offices or edge deployments. The open frame gives immediate access to every mounted device for rapid assembly and cable routing.

Sustained Operation in an Open Frame

Because the chassis is fully open, airflow moves freely across all installed equipment without relying on ducted fans. Components stay at their rated temperatures during continuous cluster or home-assistant workloads. The rigid aluminum and steel construction prevents flex when the rack is fully populated.

Passive Thermals and Silent Running

No integrated fans means zero acoustic output from the cabinet itself; only the installed hardware generates noise. Heat dissipates naturally through the perforated sides and top, keeping power draw limited to the devices you mount. The flat-packed kit includes every screw and bracket needed for a single-person build.

Questions about this item

How does the open aluminium-and-acrylic frame affect heat dissipation when the rack runs continuously?

The open design promotes natural airflow around installed equipment, helping to keep temperatures stable during all-day operation without built-in fans.

What mounting hardware or tools must I already have to assemble the flat-packed rack?

All necessary assembly hardware is included; only basic hand tools such as a screwdriver are required to put the cabinet together.

Will my existing 10-inch wide network switches and audio gear fit side-by-side in the 8U cabinet?

The 10-inch width and 8U height accept standard 10-inch rack-mount devices, so legacy switches, servers or audio units mount directly without adapters.
