700 W redundant server power supply delivering +12 V at 58 A, +5 V at 30 A, +3.3 V at 24 A and +5 VSB at 4 A in a 13.58" × 2.99" × 1.58" form factor with one fan
The Supermicro PWS-702A-1R delivers 700 W of redundant power in a slim 13.58" x 2.99" x 1.58" form factor. It fits standard hot-swap bays for rackmount servers that require continuous uptime. A single internal fan provides airflow across the module.
The +12 V rail is rated for 58 A continuous output, while the +5 V and +3.3 V rails supply 30 A and 24 A respectively. The 5 V standby rail provides 4 A for management controllers. All rails maintain regulation during extended operation without short-term peak inflation.
The unit follows the redundant PSU form factor and pinout defined by the SSI EPS specification. Cable reach and connector count are fixed by that standard, so builders must verify their backplane and motherboard headers match before installation.
Measured against everything we stock in Server & Hot-Plug PSUs, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The unit uses one internal fan; noise level varies with load and chassis airflow, so plan for typical server-grade acoustic output.
This redundant supply requires a compatible 12V main connector, 5V and 3.3V rails, plus a 5VSB standby line — verify your backplane matches these outputs.
The +12V@58A, +5V@30A and +3.3V@24A rails deliver ample current for legacy HDDs, PCI cards and fans that draw from those voltages.
