SKU CH-JH95-DFKWX

A 1400 W server power supply rated at 1200 W output for Dell FRVCP systems

  • High 1400 W output powers demanding server workloads
  • 1200 W continuous rating sustains heavy loads reliably
  • Designed for DELL FRVCP systems ensures direct compatibility
  • New condition guarantees full factory performance

Dell FRVCP 1400W compatible server PSU

This power supply replaces the Dell D1200E-S2 and DPS-1200MB-1B units in supported FRVCP server chassis. It delivers 1200 W of continuous output with a 1400 W peak rating for short bursts. The unit fits the original form factor and connector layout for direct installation.

Capacity and headroom

The 1200 W sustained rating handles typical multi-CPU and multi-GPU server workloads without throttling. Peak loads up to 1400 W are supported for transient spikes during boot or compute surges. It is not suited for systems requiring redundant hot-swap modules or higher continuous wattage. Builders needing greater sustained power or N+1 redundancy must select a different platform.

Questions about this item

Will the 1400W output work with my older Dell server that originally used a 1200W unit?

The 1400W capacity covers the 1200W requirement and uses the D1200E-S2 form factor for Dell FRVCP systems.

How can I confirm the DPS-1200MB-1B is running correctly after installation?

The server should power on without errors and report the supply as healthy in the management console.
