Questions about this item

Will the internal fan need replacement after extended operation in a DL380 G6 server?

The unit uses a single built-in fan cooled by the server's airflow design; replacement follows standard server maintenance cycles and requires removing the supply from the chassis.

What thermal limit throttles output first during continuous 460 W load in a G7 chassis?

The platinum-rated supply hits its internal over-temperature protection before the 460 W rating is exceeded, causing the unit to shut down rather than throttle.
