Questions about this item

How does the 1125 W rating translate to real-world load on an HP Z820?

The 1125 W unit delivers up to that continuous power for dual-CPU configurations and high-end graphics cards installed in the Z820 chassis.

What connector standard does the DPS-1125AB use and what does it limit?

It uses the proprietary HP Z820 power interface, which keys the supply to that workstation and prevents use in other systems.
