Compatible DC server supply

The Supersuperuncle NEPS800-D is a new DC server power supply built for NE40-2 and NE40-4 routers as well as MA5200G-2 and MA5200G-4 platforms. It delivers 800 W of DC output for rack-mounted networking equipment. Data-centre operators and ISP engineers can deploy it as a direct replacement or spare unit.

Bundle impact

The package contains only the power supply module itself with no additional cables, mounting brackets or management software. Installers must reuse existing DC leads and rack hardware from the original chassis. Sites without spare DC cabling will need to source those items separately.

Questions about this item

How often will the NEPS800-D unit need to be replaced in a NE40-4 router?

The NEPS800-D is a new DC server power supply rated for 800 W output; replacement timing depends on the router's operating environment and load profile rather than a fixed interval.

What thermal limit appears first when the NEPS800-D runs continuously at full load in a MA5200G-2 chassis?

The supply delivers up to 800 W DC; the first limit reached under sustained full load will be the chassis airflow capacity or the router's internal thermal threshold, not the power supply itself.
