460 W server power supply for 2U systems

The Supersuperuncle P2G-6460P 6510 delivers 460 W of continuous power in a form factor designed for 2U industrial computer servers. It is intended for integrators and operators who need a direct replacement unit for compatible chassis. Builders working with larger or smaller form-factor enclosures cannot use this supply.

Practical limits of the standard server form factor

The physical dimensions and connector layout follow the 2U server power-supply standard, so installation is restricted to chassis that accept that exact profile. Cable lengths and output distribution are fixed by the design, limiting flexibility for non-standard backplanes or custom wiring. Buyers requiring modular cabling or higher wattage must select a different unit.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 460W model or a higher-wattage unit?

Choose the 460W P2G-6460P 6510 if your 2U server's total component draw stays under 460 watts; otherwise select a higher-rated supply.

What does the 460W rating mean for my 2U server build?

It means the P2G-6460P 6510 can continuously deliver up to 460 watts to all rails combined, so the CPU, drives and add-in cards together must not exceed that limit.
