Wired In-Ear Headphones with 3.5mm Jack

The SuperTooth iMangoo-0889 are corded in-ear headphones that connect through a 3.5mm plug. They suit students, commuters and office workers who want a simple wired audio solution without pairing or charging. An inline remote handles music playback, volume and call functions. A carrying case and three sizes of silicone tips are included.

Practical Limits of the 3.5mm Analogue Connection

Audio quality depends on the source device's built-in DAC and amplifier, so output can vary between phones, laptops and consoles. The 32 ohm impedance works well with portable players but may not reach high volumes on some equipment. The cable length is fixed and the inline remote is designed for standard CTIA pinouts; proprietary headset jacks may not support all controls.

Upgrading from Wireless Earbuds or Basic Pack-Ins

These replace Bluetooth sets when you need zero latency for gaming or reliable audio on long flights without battery anxiety. They also improve on the flimsy earbuds often bundled with phones, adding a noise-isolating microphone, tangle-resistant cable and a protective case. The jump is worth it if you prioritise consistent connection and all-day comfort over wireless freedom.

Questions about this item

Which version of the SuperTooth iMangoo-0889 should I pick for my device?

The single model iMangoo-0889 works with any device that has a 3.5mm jack, including listed iPhone, iPad, iPod, Samsung, Motorola and other phones plus laptops and consoles.

What does the 32 ohm impedance mean when I plug them into my phone or laptop?

A 32 ohm load is easy for standard 3.5mm outputs to drive, so volume reaches comfortable levels without an extra amplifier on phones, tablets, laptops or game controllers.

How does the 3.5mm plug limit what I can connect to?

The 3.5mm auxiliary connector only carries analogue stereo and microphone signals, so the headset works wherever that jack exists but cannot use digital or USB-C only ports without an adapter.
